Beyond what we know
As i sit here in the library at Greenville College, i often wonder what does God have in store for me. I am majoring in youth ministry, and i know that is what God has called me to do. However, it seems like there is more. God has something bigger for my life. Apart from interacting with teens, as i do now, i believe that he is calling me away. Im not just saying away from the typical Washington or Illinois, i believe he is calling me away from this wonderful Country. There are so many opportunities in Africa, Haiti, Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic, China, and India just to name a few. There is so much suffering beyond what our eyes and ears know. I suppose I have four more years to figure out what God is calling me to do. However, is it too early to hear him now?

If you hear him now, you are very fortunate...tune in to what he is telling you! You would be a changed person, in my opinion, if you decided to go into overseas mission work. You should look into the Peace Corp. too. Can't wait to see you at Christmas!
